What's New With DogaBetix?

Hi Everyone! I should probably apologize...I can't believe it's been over a year since I last posted! No excuses....to say I've been busy is true but really not much of an excuse. I have taken on a more active roll with all the packaging, labeling, and shipping and fortunately I have been able to devote more time to running the business. Last year was challenging for everyone, but there were some plus sides to living through the pandemic. Did you know that pet adoptions went UP last year? No matter what’s happening in the world, shelters’ and rescues’ mission to help homeless pets remains unchanged. So perhaps it’s not surprising that animal organizations stepped up to make a massive impact in 2020. The past year’s pet adoption statistics show that shelters and rescues helped nearly 900,000 pets find new families—even in the middle of a worldwide pandemic.

DogaBetix had it's best year in 2020! Our best quarter was the 4th quarter, and included our best month - December. We're baking and shipping more than ever before. We have some exciting changes coming including a revamping of our website, and new sku's being offered. Also new packaging should be completed by the end of Summer. SO a completely new look for DogaBetix is in the works for 2021.

Ella is doing great! Hard to believe it's been over 9 years since she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I am so proud of her! She turns 13 in May, and although she's probably about 90% blind, she still loves to bark at everything, loves to go on long walks and sniff every leaf and blade of grass! She hasn't lost her curiosity about what goes on around her, and loves to take her favorite toy on her daily walks. She has been on 9 units of insulin twice a day now for about 3 years, since the vet last adjusted her shot. I am so grateful to have this little pup with me and happy with my decision not to put her down as the vet recommended over 9 years ago. She is always happy to see me when I get home at night, and even with her diabetes, EPI, and blindness, still enjoys life! She is a gift.
